The KS3 / KS4 D&T software bundle consists of 10 animation packages, notes and exercises. This detailed package gives students the information they need to work more independently and at their own pace. Animations of mechanisms, structures and design and technology tools and processes clearly illustrate how things work and how tools should be used to cut, shape, form, join and finish resistant materials. Stages of designing, analysing, evaluating and making are explained and richly illustrated with photographs and animations. An interactive diagram of the "design process" guides students through the stages of designing and making and the things that they need to do and to consider. Students use hyperlinks from the diagram to move around the the software to research information, to watch animations and to find D&T exercises. |
